Growing Microgreens - A great family activity

Growing microgreens at home can be the most engaging activity that gets your kids excited about growing and eating healthy food!

You’ll find that microgreens grow extremely quickly. Even the most impatient little ones will enjoy growing these mini plants as they change daily and can be ready to eat in as little as 7 days.

I loved using the process as a teaching experience for my kids. My 4 year old daughter literally begged me everyday to water her microgreens and then to eat them!! I love supporting an organic, environmentally conscious business run by a woman and Mom!

My favorite part of the DIY kit is when we were prepping the pots for planting, my son was adding the water to the soil discs and he said “I love this already!” He was so engaged from opening the kit to prepping and planting to harvesting our little crop and would check on his plants multiple times a day.

Not only are the microgreens super easy to grow, but its a project that my whole family gets excited about. Each day we measure to see the growth and the kids take such pride in the growing.
