Growing hope amidst a pandemic

“Crazy times huh”? I keep hearing this over and over when checking in with various friends and family. And it’s true. As a community, as a country, as a world… we all seem to be reeling from the impact of this overwhelming pandemic.

There are many messages out there. Messages of fear. Messages of doom. Messages of uncertainty. And there are some messages of hope.

I am reaching out to my tiny circle of influence with what I feel I can offer right now. I want to shift the feelings of fear and uncertainty into something positive.

We all lead busy lives. And if you are like me, you may still be struggling to get your footing. Trying to figure out a new routine now that you are home juggling work, kids, and all of life. Are you wondering when and if things will return to normal?

The current state of the world has me up nights. Are you with me? Thinking about the impact of COVID 19 worldwide has led me to take stock of my own life. I can not stop thinking about all my good intentions that have been pushed to the back burner because I’m just too darn busy! Well, that’s all starting to seem a little silly now. The too busy excuse. I get it. But I don’t want to use it any more. NOW is the time to be living the life I value for myself and my family.

Ever since I started Hand-Grown Greens I have been pulled in the direction of education. I kept telling myself I would dive into teaching “down the road”. Well my friends… I think its time to get on that figurative road. There is no better time than NOW to share my knowledge with others. As most of you know, I am passionate about growing and eating microgreens! Microgreens are nutrient packed; delicious to eat; and a simple way to start growing your own food. Growing your own microgreens is a small step. But big changes begin with small steps. If you are feeling led to start on a path towards a more self sufficient lifestyle, then growing microgreens at home IS a step in that direction. There is no better time than right now to start growing nutritious fresh greens for your family. Let me show you how!

I am putting together an online mini course that will cover all the basics for successfully growing microgreens at home. No experience needed. No special equipment needed. I know a lot of you are busy working parents and I get that time for self education is limited. My goal is to create a simple, short course you can complete on your own time. This course will get you growing and eating your own microgreens in just weeks! Are you are ready to start taking action? Drop me an email or DM me on IG. I’d love to hear from you and I’ll be happy to personally let you know when the course is up and running.

Be well.

Laura
